During the war in Gaza, Violet Barron, a Jewish student activist and founder of Harvard Jews for Palestine, undergoes a profound political transformation. Raised in a pro-Israel environment, Violet begins questioning long-held beliefs in the aftermath of October 7 and becomes a leading organizer in pro-Palestinian campus protests. Following her over the course of 14 months, this podcast explores how political awakening reshapes identity, personal relationships, and the growing generational divide within American Jewish communities.
