For me, research is both an ethical responsibility and the foundation upon which writing and artistic language begin to take shape. At the same time, research itself is a creative practice: a process that continuously inspires new ways of thinking, seeing, and constructing a work.
My practice combines archival and theoretical research, visual analysis, narrative construction, interview-driven work, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). My primary areas of expertise include political, historical, and sociological research, alongside background investigations, interview preparation, script development, and securing interviewees for documentary productions.
I have worked as a researcher and scriptwriter for major Israeli and European television productions, where I conducted in-depth interviews, fact-checking, and editorial development around politically and socially complex subjects. I have also conducted research for narrative feature films and television series during their development stages, including casting work with non-actors.
While working across multiple forms and media, I found documentary cinema to be the place where these different practices converge most fully -- bringing together deep investigation and artistic creation.
